FAQ – ISM Munich University of Applied Sciences
ISM is internationally AACSB-accredited since 2024 and offers excellent teaching, committed lecturers, a personalized student expercience thanks to study advisors and coaches, many corporate partnerships and very good career opportunities after graduation.
You do not need to know German in order to study at ISM Munich. There are eleven study programs offered in English language, three Bachelors and six Master programs, a Pre-Master semester as well as an MBA program full-time. The language requirement is having a level of English corresponding to B2 level (upper intermediate) according to the Common European Framework for Languages.

We offer currently 10 Bachelor and Master programs 100% in English. Further programs are available with a mix of German and English language modules (70:30 ratio), for example part-time Bachelor and part-time Master programs which can be studied alongside working.
In addition to these full-time programs, our university in Munich also offers an MBA program, as well as online, distance learning study programs that optimally combine work and study. These can be accessed via the ISM distance learning site.
