Why study in Hamburg?

No matter what time of day, in Hamburg you are greeted with "Moin" or "Moin-Moin". Hamburg attracts many students with its Hanseatic city charm. Because besides beautiful bridges, seagulls and ships, the city has a lot to offer. At the Landungsbrücken, Binnenalster, Elbphilharmonie and the Reeperbahn there is always something going on. The famous 'Speicherstadt' in the Hafen city district, together with the Kontorhaus district, are also UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Hamburg has become an economic and cultural center and, with the largest seaport in Germany, has connections all over the world. The logistics sector is therefore one of the leading industries in Hamburg, along with the media and information industry and medicine and biotechnology.

Thanks to the numerous and innovative local companies in almost every industry, you have a good choice for internships during your studies and excellent career opportunities after graduation.
