The full-time MBA in General Management is a classic one-year MBA degree in the area of general business management. This management MBA program enables our students to expand their business administration and management knowledge and creates the ideal prerequisites for a?leadership or executive position?in any business.

The MBA in management develops and shapes the?next generation of business leaders?and is addressed at graduates with some previous existing work experience (two-three years) seeking to further level up their management skills and tackle the challenges of strategic leadership on an international level.

Theory and practice are closely intertwined in this business MBA program, taught at a private business school which is focused on management programs. Smartphones, skyscrapers and lots of hustle and bustle - MBA students in Hong Kong

Dortmund MBA students explored the Chinese metropolis of Hong Kong between high-tech and hustle and bustle. While the ISM students strolled through the narrow streets along the markets, they marveled at the many glass skyscrapers. “I've never seen a city like it,” says MBA student Alexander Heinze. “It was amazing: everyone there has a smartphone, even older people. Anyone who is bothered by the fact that other people spend too much time on their cell phones here should definitely not travel to Hong Kong.” In the city of contrasts, the MBA students not only went sightseeing but also attended many lectures at Hong Kong Polytech University (PolyU). During their time there, they also explored the IT and media group Bloomberg and the Chinese trading company Li & Fung.

How can I apply for an MBA program?

In order to study the MBA in General Management at ISM, our university conducts an online admissions test that tests your personality, motivation and skills. Admission to the MBA program is not restricted by a numerus clausus (NC). After registering for an admission test, you will receive further information on submitting online your documents and preparing for the admission interview.
