Combining business administration and IT - Master of Data Science curriculum

Creative Use of Big Data

In M.Sc. Business Intelligence & Data Science you combine?two exciting disciplines: Business Administration and IT. With comprehensive knowledge of methods for intelligent data retrieval and analysis as well as for management consulting and analysis, you will meet the requirements of a big data specialist.

You will also spend the third semester abroad at one of our numerous partner universities. The 中国足球彩票手机版 Office will support you with this.

Your studies will end with a?practice-oriented Master's thesis?in the 4th semester. This means that you will receive your?degree with 120 ECTS in the fourth semester.

If you wish to shorten your studies to only 3 semesters, you can select the Fast Track option, in which you graduate with only 90 ECTS and skip the semester abroad. More details below.

Consulting

Big Data Project

  • Agile Project Management (2 ECTS)
  • Scientific Methods (2 ECTS)
  • Field Project (2 ECTS)
3rd Semester

Semester abroad. (24 ECTS)

MASTER'S THESIS (30 ECTS)

Additionally, you can receive an international Double Degree from one of our partner universities.

Fast Track: On the Fast Lane to Your Master in Business Intelligence & Data Science

With the option "Fast Track" the semester abroad is omitted and you shorten your internship period. This allows you to complete your master's degree in only 3 semesters with 90 ECTS. Prerequisite: you bring 210 ECTS from your Bachelor (an alternative admission to Fast Track is possible via demonstrated work experience or by taking the ISM Pre-Master).
